Rainy season is almost gone and it's very hot and humid here in Mumbai and so the other day I had an ice cream bar to beat the heat.
This is among the most affordable ice-creams out there which is from Vadilal in mango dolly variant which is for only 15rs.You get 60ml product for 15rs.It is packed in a plastic wrapper.
Talking about the taste it was very tasty and in 15 rs you can't ask for more.The outer layer as the name suggests has a mango coating which tastes similar to pure mango pulp not at all artificial.The mango covering almost tasted like amras which we make at home.The inner layer had vanilla ice-cream which went very good with the mango flavor.The outer layer was a little bit hard compared to the inner layer which was soft and smooth.
It was a very refreshing flavor to have on a hot and humid day.If you want to get most out of it just lick it don't eat it.The ice-cream had the perfect amount of sweetness which I see in desserts because I can't have a very sweet dessert that's a big disappointment for me.
It's a must try from my side, do try it to beat the heat.
