Summer season in India means mango season and mango season means homemade mango ice-cream is must.
So here I bring the most simple,quick yet delicious mango ice-cream recipe.
It so was creamy and sweet I fell in love with it as soon as I ate it.It was very refreshing as well.And the best part of making mango ice-cream or any ice-cream at home is we know what ingredients go into it not like those chemical infused ice-creams,its no that I don't like them but sometimes its good to have homemade natural ice-cream and plus for me cooking releases stress.It has the goodness of mango and cream plus the pure mango flavor,which the store bought ice-cream cannot beat.
For the ice-cream you will need-:
2 cups of Alphonso mango pulp
1 cup of heavy cream
Sugar according to the sweetness of the mangoes
You don't need Alphonso mango you can use any mango of your choice but Alphonso gives it a lot of flavor.For the heavy cream beat it till it gets rid of all the lumps ,it should become all one.Don't make it in a whipping cream consistency ,the consistency should be runny.Don't add milk or water as it will make the ice-cream hard.Mix the pulp,cream and powdered sugar well and freeze it overnight.This makes 3 servings of ice-cream.
